Job Description:

We are working with a financial/FX company led by a management team with over 20 years of experience, who is looking to hire AI Automation Specialist to join their team in Bangkok.


Position: AI Automation Specialist


Location: Bangkok, Thailand


Work model: hybrid (4 days office, 1 day Work-From-Home (Wednesdays))


Employment type: Service Agreement (no Employment contract option available)


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and maintain AI-powered automation workflows to improve operational efficiency across departments
  • Identify repetitive manual tasks, operational bottlenecks, and process inefficiencies, then implement scalable automation solutions
  • Develop internal AI assistants, chatbots, and knowledge tools for company policies, SOPs, promotions, FAQs, and operational support
  • Automate recurring reports, approval flows, notifications, and internal operational processes
  • Integrate APIs, databases, CRM systems, Google Workspace tools, and communication platforms into unified workflows
  • Build automated data pipelines and productivity tools for operational and business use cases
  • Implement AI-powered document extraction and data processing solutions
  • Monitor workflow reliability, troubleshoot automation failures, and continuously improve existing automation systems
  • Analyse business processes and recommend operational improvements through automation and AI solutions
  • Maintain workflow documentation, SOPs, and internal usage guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with business teams to transform manual processes into scalable automated systems.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field OR strong self-taught portfolio/project experience
  • Hands-on experience with workflow automation platforms such as n8n, Make, or Zapier
  • Understanding of AI/LLM tools and API integrations
  • Intermediate Python or similar programming language skills
  • SQL knowledge and understanding of relational databases
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and automation-related tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work independently with strong ownership mentality
  • Strong communication skills and business-oriented thinking
  • Fast learner with ability to simplify complex operational processes
  • Startup or fintech experience is considered an advantage
  • Experience building AI assistants, chatbots, or internal operational tools is considered a plus.
