We are seeking a Proposal Engineer with experience in the water and wastewater treatment industry to support tendering, cost estimation, and proposal preparation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Review RFQs, tenders, and project specifications to understand bid requirements.
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, BOQs, and cost estimates.
• Develop treatment process solutions based on project requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, fabricators, and subcontractors to obtain technical and commercial inputs.
• Prepare technical specifications, submittals, clarifications, and preliminary control philosophies.
• Support sales and engineering teams during pre-sales and project handover stages.
• Maintain vendor, supplier, and proposal databases.
• Ensure accurate, competitive, and timely submission of proposals.
• Participate in technical discussions with clients, consultants, and suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a Proposal Engineer role.
• Experience in water and wastewater treatment projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of treatment systems, RO, pumps, filters, tanks, vessels and related equipment.
• Experience in tender review, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and quotation development.
• Strong commercial awareness and vendor management skills.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and proposal documentation tools.
